Live Entertainment Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Nights
|
|
Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, the Canary Club hosts great local bands and DJ's for your listening and dancing pleasure. Over the years many great bands have graced the Canary Club stage, and there are many great bands still to come. The Canary Club offers a large variety of entertainment. If you enjoy the listening experience of live music, and like to get out on the dance floor and cut a rug, then the Canary Club is the venue you'll enjoy. Our DJ's on the weekends play a well rounded genre of music, some from the 50's to present day, and there is plenty of room on the dance floor for you!
Bands come and go in this business as you know. Below are some of the current bands that have blessed us with their music/shows throughout the years, or just came onboard and have a terrific following.

Joe Valentino is; the Blast From The Past: This Clown Prince Of Rock & Roll. Warns: mothers lock up your daughters, husbands tie up your wives. When question arises, “Who put the bomp?” There is only one answer!! Joe Valentino. “The man who put the hot dog, in the bun!” The man who put Rock! in, Roll! You’ve heard of “The Big Bopper!” Well here’s “The Big Whopper!” |
| Joe Valentino and his high steppers will work their magic once again on Saturday, November 15, 2008. The young newcomer to the show, Ricki Casanova, has dazzled us with some fancy foot work and a string of popular vintage song in the past. Popular show girls Robin and Tina will be in fine form as usual. |

The newest sensation, the boy with the beat, the atomic powered singer, the one with the nuclear fission in his pants, which become obvious in his dance. The greatest entertainer, the boy who carried comedy in his back pocket. The blast from the past. The crown prince of rock and roll. That wonderful the incomparable, that famous man; the one and only Joe Valentino will be here shortly to knock your socks off folks.

| Johnny and the Heartbreakers featuring "Johnny" as ELVIS, have appeared many times at the Canary Club over the years. This seven piece band has been well received with near packed houses. With their usual combination of songs in English and Spanish, this great 7-pc. band has always been a real crowd pleaser. If you missed this show in the past, be sure to check our "Previews" newsletter at the club, or look online at this website and check the Canary Club calendar page for their next appearance. |

| This band has been kicking ass and taking names since they burst on the Houston live music scene almost 6 years ago. Formed originally by Jeff Hale and his younger brother Mitch Hale, over the years a multitude of players have come and gone. The Convertibles has grown by leaps and bounds and the band feels that at this point they have the right chemistry |
