After working a gig in Las Vegas, Keith Gilley, the son of Mickey Gilley, former management of the world famous honky tonk club in Pasadena, Texas, decided to come back to his roots in Texas. Richard Stafford, one of the owners of the Canary Club, recalls this story. "One day this kid came knocking at my door at home. He said he was the son of Mickey Gilley and he was an entertainer. Of course I didn't believe him, but gave him an audition, and the rest is history. His father Mickey, and his famous Gilley's Club in Pasenda Texas, became very famous when John Travolta shot many scenes at the club in one of his hit movies, "Urban Cowboy".

Keith has been performing since eighteen. For those of you who have visited Gilley's, you may have remember seeing him perform there. During his show, Keith displays more energy than the energizer bunny. His music ranges from Country to R&B. He plays percussion and sings lead vocals. Let's not forget his dancing.
